End of the Season Review -
10.0 years ago

The Lady Vikings finished their 2013 season with an overall record of 3-13-2. While the record doesn't appear stellar, there were still many highlights and successes throughout the season.
Seniors Dasia Araujo and Mia DiBella led the team in scoring with five goals each.  Laura Persofsky led the team in defensive saves and goalkeeper, Devyn Antonucci, recorded almost 200 saves on the season, keeping the Vikings competitive in many games.  The three wins against Upper Moreland, Upper Dublin and Norristown were hard fought and well deserved wins.  Both games against Cheltenham went into 7 v 7 overtime and ended in a 1-1 tie, but it was a constant battle in both contests. Regardless of any score in any game, the Lady Vikings always played hard and always maintained a "never give up" attitude which is commendable.  Four Varsity players received all-league recognition including- Kaitlyn Lutz (second team), Jackie Schauble (third team), Laura Persofsky (honorable mention) and Mia DiBella (honorable mention).  Five seniors will graduate- Daisa Araujo (forward), Mia DiBella (forward), Jackie Schauble (midfield), Laura Persofsky (defense) and Krysta Zadroga (defense). They will be missed.
