The 2013-2014 Boys and Girls Winter Track Team had a successful indoor season.  Despite the frigid temperatures and unpredictable weather, the team maintained their training and focus to achieve their goals, with many athletes setting new indoor personal records. Fifteen athletes from the team qualified for the Meet of Champions, the most to qualify in many years. Shortly after, six athletes competed in the State Indoor Track and Field Championship (Seniors: Ashley Anderson, Zeinab Bakillah, Jada Wilson, Austin Cooper, Anecia Alexaki; Freshman: Morgan Morton).  At the state meet, Cooper placed 10^th in the mile and later medaled in the open 800m, finishing in 6^th place. He ran his best indoor times in both events.  In the pole vault event, Alexaki medaled and finished in 6^th place, clearing 11’6”. Wilson ran her best indoor time in the open 800m and placed 21^st. The girls’ 4x800m relay placed 14^th overall at the meet.
