Vikings Win: 18 - 8
The 6 seniors and the entire Lady Vikings' team turned in a strong performance in their final game of the season.  The night began by honoring the 6 seniors- Jordan Cabahug-Almonte, Anna Davis, Marion Fortino, Lizzy Goernemann, Camille Martorella and Haley O'Malley. All 6 seniors had a major impact in the win and played with intensity and heart in their final game wearing blue and gold. Haley O'Malley had 4 goals, 1 caused turnover and 2 ground balls. Anna Davis had 3 goals, 1 assist, an interception and 4 ground balls. Camille Martorella scored a goal. Lizzy Goernemann scored a goal, forced 2 turnovers and had 1 ground ball. Marion Fortino won 3 ground balls on defense. Jordan Cabahug-Almonte had 7 saves on 15 shots. Also scoring for the Vikings were Allison Shuster (3 goals, 1 assist), Quinn O'Malley (2 goals, 3 assists), Molly Weygand (2 goals, 1 assist), Riley O'Malley (1 goal, 2 assists) & Francesca Lindelow (1 goal). The Vikings end the season 10-8.

Vikings Win: 17 - 3
The Lady Vikings came out to a dominant lead and went into halftime, 11-1.  Control remained on the Vikings' side as they only gave up 3 goals in the game.  Haley O'Malley led the offense with 4 goals and 1 assist.  Quinn O'Malley had 3 goals and 1 assist.  Francesca Lindelow & Molly Weygand both had 2 goals, 2 assists.  Anna Davis also scored 2 goals with 1 assist.  In addition, Lizzy Goernemann, Allison Shuster, Andrea Davis and Camille Martorella each added a goal. Weygand dominated draw control with 7 while Riley O'Malley took control of loose ground balls with 5.  Quinn O'Malley, Anna Davis, Gabrielle Struckus and Andrea Davis had 3 ground balls each. Quinn O'Malley also contributed to 3 caused turnovers. The Lady Vikings' final game is Thursday, May 12 at 7:30pm in Viking Stadium where their Seniors will be honored prior to the game.

The Lady Vikings move to 7-6 with their win over Pottsgrove today.  Eight different players scored including: Haley O'Mally (4 goals, 1 assist), Quinn O'Malley (3 goals, 1 assist), Molly Weygand (3 goals), Anna Davis (2 goals, 4 assists), Francesca Lindelow (2 goals), Riley O'Malley (1 goal, 1 assist), Allison Shuster (1 goal, 2 assists) and Lizzy Goernemann (1 goal, 1 assist). Defensively, the following players caused turnovers- Shuster, H. O'Malley, Weygand, Goernemann & Andrea Davis.  Two players had interceptions- Goernemann & Q. O'Malley Jordan Cabahug-Almonte had 5 saves on 10 shots.

Vikings Win: 16 - 4
Upper Merion picked up a big win today against Hatboro-Horsham.  The Lady Vikings took control of the game immediately and came out with a commanding 5-0 lead.  HH got on the board with their first goal at the 15:32 mark.  Going into the half, the score was 8-3. It was a total team effort up and down the field and the Lady Vikings remained composed, focused and in control throughout the entire game.   Quinn O'Malley was responsible for 3 caused turnovers and Lizzy Goernemann had an interception which she converted into the 7th goal of the game.  Haley O'Malley also had an interception. Draw control was dominated by Molly Weygand with 8 and she also led ground ball control with 4. Jordan Cabahug-Almonte faced 9 shots and had 5 saves. Scoring for the Vikings- Haley O'Malley (4 goals, 2 assists); Francesca Lindelow (4 goals); Riley O'Malley (3 goals, 1 assist); Anna Davis (2 goals, 1 assist); Quinn O'Malley (1 goal, 3 assists); Allison Shuster (1 goal); Lizzy Goernemann (1 goal).

Both Varsity and JV teams notched wins over visiting Cheltenham today.  JV won their first game of the season, 11-5. The Varsity game was dominated from start to finish by UM.  Haley O'Malley led the attack with 5 goals and 5 assists.  Quinn O'Malley had 2 goals.  Anna Davis, Allison Shuster, Francesca Lindelow, Molly Weygand, Lizzy Goernemann, Camille Martorella & Kelly Burns all had a goal for the Vikings. Assists were also provided by Shuster (2), Davis (2), Riley O'Malley (2), Q. O'Malley (1) and Weygand (1). Weygand led draw control with 6. Marion Fortino and Francesca LIndelow each had an interception. H. O'Malley caused 3 turnovers. UM dominated ground ball control - Anna Davis (3), R. O'Malley (2), Shuster (2), Lindelow (2), Q. For the second time in a week, Upper Merion lost a hard fought battle in overtime. Goals were scored by Haley O'Malley (4 goals, 1 assist); Francesca Lindelow (2 goals, 1 assist); Quinn O'Malley (1 goal, 2 assists); Allison Shuster & Riley O'Malley (1 goal, 1 assist each); Anna Davis & Molly Weygand (1 goal each). Jordan Cabahug Almonte had a strong day in goal, facing 28 shots and recording 16 saves. Anna Davis was strong on defense with an interception and 2 caused turnovers.

Vikings Win: 16 - 11
After two tough losses, Upper Merion rebounded with a 16-11 win over Upper Moreland. Eight different Lady Vikings contributed in the scoring. The O'Malley sisters (Haley, Quinn & Riley) each scored 3 goals and contributed 5 assists (2, 2 & 1 respectively).  Additional scoring includes- Anna Davis (2 goals, 1 assist), Molly Weygand ( 2 goals), Allison Shuster (1 goal, 2 assists), Francesca Lindelow ( 1 goal, 2 assists), Lizzy Goernemann (1 goal). Molly Weygand led the draw control with 5 and also had an interception.  Ground ball control was led by Riley O'Malley (4), Gabrielle Struckus (3), Allison Shuster (2) and Lizzy Goernemann (2).  Turnovers were caused by Quinn O'Malley (2), Riley O'Malley (1), Marion Fortino (1) and Lizzy Goernemann (1).

Vikings Lose: 12 - 15
The Lady Vikings went into halftime with momentum and the lead, 8-7. The second half was a bit tumultuous for UM as UD came out stronger and scored 5 goals before UM finally scored at the 15:23 mark. UM also scored 3 goals in the last 2 minutes of the game, but ultimately time ran out, resulting in the disappointing, 12-15 league loss. Haley O'Malley led the charge for the Vikings having 5 goals, 1 assist and an interception.  Other goal scorers for UM- Riley O'Malley & Anna Davis (2 goals, 1 assist each); Quinn O'Malley (1 goal, 2 assists); Allison Shuster (1 goal, 1 assist); Molly Weygand (1 goal); Francesca Lindelow (3 assists). Defensively, Karli Friend had 2 interceptions and an additional caused turnover. Lizzy Goernemann also forced a turnover. Jordan Cabahug-Almonte had 6 saves in goal.

Vikings Lose: 16 - 17
Francesca Lindelow tied the game with 23 seconds left to give the Vikings a chance to win or head to overtime. In the sudden victory OT, PJP gained control of the first draw and ultimately had the first shot on goal in OT which ended up being the winning goal of the game. UM trailed the entire game and made several runs at taking the lead, but could never make that jump. Scoring for the Vikings- Francesca Lindelow (4 goals, 2 assists); Haley O'Malley & Riley O'Malley (2 goals, 2 assists each); Allison Shuster (3 goals); Lizzy Goernemann (2 goals); Anna Davis (1 goal, 1 assist); Quinn O'Malley & Molly Weygand (1 goal each). Molly Weygand and Quinn O'Malley led the Vikings in draw control with 4 each. Anna Davis caused 2 turnovers along with Gabrielle Struckus, Karli Friend and GK, Jordan Cabahug-Almonte, who also recorded 1 caused turnover each.

Momentum was definitely in favor of the Lady Vikings as they dominated Cardinal O'Hara in the 17-6 win Friday.  Sisters, Haley O'Malley (4 goals, 1 assist) & Quinn O'Malley (3 goals, 3 assists) led the offensive charge.  Allison Shuster and Molly Weygand also put in a great effort and each had 2 goals, 2 assists and an interception.  Also scoring for the Vikings were Francesca Lindelow (2 goals), Anna Davis (2 goals), Riley O'Malley (1 goal, 1 assist) and Lizzy Goernemann (1 goal). The defense was strong, causing several turnovers and controling ground balls.  Gabrielle Struckus caused 2 turnovers and recorded the 3rd interception of the game.  Also forcing turnovers were- Allison Shuster, Francesca Lindelow, Quinn O'Malley, Molly Weygand, Anna Davis, Marion Fortino and Robyn Rhindress. Jordan Cabahug-Almonte had 3 saves.

Seven players contributed in today's game vs. Shipley: Anna Davis, 4 goals & 1 assist; Francesca Lindelow, 4 goals; Allison Shuster, 3 goals; Riley O'Malley, 2 goals & 4 assists; Haley O'Malley, 2 goals; Molly Weygand, 1 goal; Quinn O'Malley, 1 goal. In addition to scoring, Riley O'Malley also contributed with an interception, caused turnover, ground ball control and draw control. Other defensive highlights include an interception by Marion Fortino.  Lizzy Goernemann, Gabrielle Struckus, Anna Davis, Molly Weygand & Haley O'Malley all forced turnovers.

Vikings Lose: 9 - 14
Haley O'Malley notched 5 of the 9 goals scored by Upper Merion today in their 9-14 loss to West Chester Rustin.  Her 4th of the game, scored on a free position shot, marked her 100th career goal at UM.  Haley is a 4-year varsity starter for the Vikings and also a tri-captain. She is joined on the team by sisters, Quinn & Riley.  A big congratulations goes out to Haley! Also scoring in the game for the Vikings were Francesca Lindelow, Molly Weygand, Quinn O'Malley and Riley O'Malley.  Allison Shuster had 2 assists. Molly Weygand and Anna Davis led the team in draw control. Lizzy Goernemann recorded a caused turnover. Goalkeeper, Jordan Cabahug-Almonte faced 24 shots and had 10 saves.
