Congratulations to Sophia Gammarino (Class of 2020) who was awarded the Middle Atlantic District All Academic Award for outstanding dedication and achievement in academics and athletics for 2016/17 school year.

Sophia plays on the Varsity Volleyball team and travels nationally for club volleyball.  This award was something that came as the result of constant dedication to her academics while playing a sport.  It was not an immediate reward, like the winning goal of a soccer game, or the final kill in a volleyball match, it was 9 months of studying and practicing that really paid off.

Sophia achieved Distinguished Honors while traveling during the school year for volleyball to DC, VA, NC, GA and FL where she competed in the AAU National Championships.
