Account Creation
The Athletic Department uses Student Central for athletic registrations and form submissions. This online registration platform will allow students and families in grades 7-12 to register for sports AND digitally submit all required PIAA athletic forms. Please take a moment to review all the instructions read provided below.
Creating Student and Parent Accounts
All students grades 7-12, who intend on participating in a sport within Upper Merion Area School District, should follow the BigTeams Student Central Account Creation Directions (also embedded below) to create a new PARENT AND STUDENT ACCOUNT. Students must use their UMASD email address when creating their account. Please fill out all required boxes when creating the parent account; boxes will highlight RED if not filled out correctly. If you only have a cell/mobile phone, you will have to list your cell number for each phone section. Please have your medical insurance information on hand as you will be asked to input this information; if you do not have medical insurance, click no under the medical insurance tab.
1. Go to Registration Portal (linked here and above)
2. Click Sign Up to Create New Account and complete the account creation
- Who is this account for? Select Parent/Guardian
- Input “Upper Merion Area School District”
- Input your Personal Information for your Parent/Guardian account
- Input personal Username (Email) and Password
- Student Accounts should use their UMASD email address.
3. From the Linked Accounts page in My Profile, click "+ Link Student Account"
4. Search for your Student to see if they have already created an account.
5. If your student does not have an account, click the hyperlink for "If your student does NOT have an account OR is not yet 13 years old, click HERE" and complete the five steps for creating the student account. Student Accounts should use their UMASD email address.
6. Input your EMERGENCY CONTACT information (Left Navigation under My Profile).
7. When registering, please turn ON notifications for both email and mobile phone to ensure messages/form completion notifications from the athletic department and coaches will be seen.
8. Once the account has been created, link here for instructions to complete required documentation and forms.
