George Zapien (Class of 1971)

George was a tri-athlete competing in spring track & field, winter track & field and football during 1968-71 school years. The MVP for track in 1971 placed 4tth in the state for the shot put event. He was Tri-Captain in 1970 for football team. In football, he played as a two way starter as the defensive end and fullback positions with honors as All League, All Area, and All State, including playing in the PA Big 33 All Star Game. He attended the University of S. Mississippi.
