Upper Merion started slowly but came on near the end of the first set loss. That momentum carried over to the 2nd set in which the Lady Vikings won 25-9. the pivotal 3rd set UM's way at 25-23 and the Lady Vikings held off the Lady Eagle 25-21 in the 4th set. Emily Shannon had 16 kills and 19 digs while her fellow outside Emma Andraka had 5 kills and 26 digs. The setters, Kailyn McNamee and Carlye Odorisio shared 22 assists while Kailyn had 6 aces. Niki Carpenter continued her stellar play with 8 blocks and 8 kills. Upper Merion will play Exeter Township on Tuesday 11/4 at Wissahickon at 7:30.
