Upper Merion girls lacrosse lost their opener to West Chester Rustin. Down 0-7 at half, the Vikings battled back in the second half, and ended the game 8-12.

Scoring for the Vikings: Julia Reinert- 4 goals, Haley O'Malley- 3 goals, Allison Shuster- 1 goal.  Marion Fortino and Anna Davis had assists.

Leading the team in draw control was Anna Davis with 6, while Julia Reinert had 3. Reinert also had the lone interception of the game and forced 1 turnover. Also forcing turnovers for the Vikings were Anna Davis, Katie Schauble and Marion Fortino.

Jordan Cabahug-Almonte faced 21 shots and had 9 saves in goal.
