Today is the last day to bring in your check for the Training Suit.

This Friday there will not be practice for the Freshman. The Varsity and JV will have their first league game of the year against Pottsgrove and should be at the High School by 9am. On Labor Day only the Varsity will have practice from 6 pm - 7:30 pm.

We get out at 1:30 today. Bus leaves at 1:45. Varsity plays at 3 pm and JV plays immediately after the Varsity game on the same turf field.

A reminder that if you are interested in getting the Upper Merion Soccer Adidas Training Suit the check for $75 to 'Tom Dodds' is due on Wednesday. Remember to let me know the size along with your check.

We will practice this week Monday - Friday 2:45 - 5:00 pm. Wednesday and Thursday morning we will also have a session from 8 am - 9am.  Tuesday is our first scrimmage and all will attend. The bus leaves at 2:15.

There will be a brief meeting about the upcoming season in C113 at the High School on Wednesday at 6 pm for all parents. Please let them know.

I was up at the high school yesterday and found out that we have only 6 players who have turned their Signed PIAA Physical forms in. Remember you can NOT train without a Physical. If you have already turned it in to the Athletic Trainer you do not need to go up to the Training room on Monday morning.

The rest of you make sure it is completed and report to the Athletic Training room by 8am to get a card that the Athletic Trainer will give you so that  you are eligible to practice.

At this time our training sessions will be running from 8 am - 11 am, Monday to Friday the week of August 14th. We will also have evening sessions from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. There is a possibility that these times may be changed due to field conflicts, but at this time plan for these sessions. They are mandatory so plan your schedule around this. 

Again, I hope you are excited for the season and being the best you can be by getting yourself fit for the 14th.

Hello all,

I hope you have been having an excellent summer. As we come closer to the season I wanted to give you a few thoughts.

Hopefully you all have gotten your Physical examinations taken care of. Remember that you are NOT allowed to practice without one so if you have not gotten this completed get this done asap.

We start our first session on Monday, August 14th at 8:00 am. You will ALL need to go to the training room at this time at the high school so that they can verify that you have had your signed Physical forms completed and turned in so that you have permission to train. 

Bring a soccer ball, running shoes, soccer shoes, shin guards and a large amount of water. Hopefully you have been training and getting yourself in shape to prepare for our season. If you have been following my summer workout schedule than you will be ready to go. If not then, with a little over 2 weeks before we start, you must get out and get yourself in physical condition to perform. This will make the training sessions much more enjoyable for you and will give you the best opportunity to make the Varsity.

I am excited to begin and for us to have a great season!!

Sadly I must inform those of you that committed to the Summer League we did not get enough players to register for the league. We only had 6 players sign up so therefore we will not be competing in the PAC Summer league. We will be holding practices from 6:30 - 8:00 pm on Wednesdays and Sundays throughout the summer until July 29th at the High School soccer field. 

Those of you who registered for the summer league come down and get your checks.

This is a reminder that checks for $ 60 are due this Tuesday for the Summer League. We are also in need of a parent to help coach the team.

The school district will be giving Physical Examinations on June 7th for $10. You must register with Kristen or Brad, our Athletic Trainers by June 1st.

Good news. We will still have Monday's Soccer after school. This will be a Captains practice.

Unfortunately I have to cancel this coming Monday's Spring session. Our first session will be this coming Wednesday.

Don't forget our Soccer Boosters Spaghetti Dinner this coming Saturday.

This coming Monday, May 5th from 2:45 - 4 pm we will begin some Spring Technical training out on the High School Fields. We will have these sessions each Monday and Wednesday through June 6th. Sign up on my door if you are planning on attending.

Also we have an opportunity to join the West Mont Summer league in Royersford this year starting June 5th and running each Tuesday night with games at either 5:30 or 6:45 pm through July 30th. I will have a sign on my door if you are interested to see what type of commitment we get. I will get back to you with the cost for each player. You will need to get your own transportation to these games. 

I hope we get a great number of you to commit to the program.

YSC second session has changed the schedule for the 1st game and it will be this coming Thursday night at 7:24 pm. 

This Saturday's playoff game is outside at YSC at 2:20 on Field 1. Dress accordingly. It is on turf.

The registration monies ($55 to Tom Dodds) is due tomorrow if interested in playing in the second session at YSC. 

Also Futsal will start this coming Wednesday night at the high school gyms from 8:15 - 9:45 pm.

If you are interested in playing in the second session for YSC Indoors I will need a check written out to 'Tom Dodds' for $55 by Monday, January 8th.

At that time we will see the number of players we have and decide who is on the team.

The 1st session YSC Varsity Indoor team roster has been posted on my door and outside the boys PE locker room. Unfortunately we did not get enough players for two teams so some players will not be able to participate this session. Come get your check from me if you are not on the roster.

Remove all locks and clean out lockers by this Friday, November 3rd or the equipment will be discarded.

We will have our Important end of year meeting this coming Wednesday, November 1st in the LGI at 2:30.Bring your computers and both sets of uniforms. We will also be voting for MVP and MIP for all 3 teams.
